About Dr. Andreina Porter
Dr. Porter completed her medical degree at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Escuela Luis Razetti in Distrito Capital, Venezuela. She then completed her family medicine residency at UTMB School of Medicine at Galveston. Growing up, Dr. Porter knew she wanted to make a difference in people's lives and this inspired her to pursue a career in medicine.
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Porter is dedicated to caring for and treating the whole family, from pediatric to geriatric patients. Patients see her for acute and chronic conditions such as wellness visits, cold and flu symptoms, upper respiration infections, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, skin procedures, well-woman exams, and more. Dr. Porter has a special interest in treating chronic conditions, administering knee injections, and providing adolescent and women’s care.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians (TAFP). She is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Porter’s goal is to be the best doctor she can be, by listening to all of her patient's concerns and having their best interests at heart. She makes sure her patients understand they are a team, and they will be making decisions about their health together.
Away from the clinic, Dr. Porter enjoys playing the piano, swimming, and spending time with her loved ones.

Dr. Porter was fabulous! She’s very helpful and a great listener! She relieved me on all of my concerns and explained thoroughly about my blood work. She’s very accepting on my choices. I normally have anxiety seeing doctors but I no longer feel that way. She is now my main and preferred health care provider and I’m truly grateful. The staff were friendly and also made my experience positive and non-rushed. They really focus on customer care and health. The patient portal is simple and handy!

I’ll also add that zoc doc helped me find the best doctor, made scheduling simple and I was able to load all of my insurance information on the app before my appointment and therefore they had it on file already!

I unfortunately refrain from going to a doctor, , but my appointment with Dr. Porter was great. Staff was prompt and courteous and the Assistant and Doctor made me feel at ease and comfortable. She took her time and was very thorough, at no time did I feel rushed. I was looking for my new Primary and I have now found that, Thanks and well done.
