Dr. Andrew McBride practices urogynecology, or female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, in Denver and Lafayette. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia Hospital. He went on to complete fellowship training in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery in Baltimore at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, University of Maryland, and Johns Hopkins. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and he has authored chapters in reference books.
Dr. McBride is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology, and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. His goal is to treat all aspects of a patient’s pelvic floor disorder, so they can live life to the fullest. A dedication to the latest treatment options for pelvic floor disorders, and the use of minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical techniques, allows Dr. McBride’s patients to return to a full life as quickly as possible. He strives to advance the understanding and awareness of pelvic floor disorders through research and education. Dr. McBride educates his patients about all treatment options so that they can make informed decisions about what will work best for them.
Dr. McBride enjoys his time away from the practice with his wife and two sons, playing tennis, hiking, biking, fishing, and enjoying the Colorado outdoors.
