Dr. Andrew Tsai’s philosophy of care is based on treating each patient like one of his friends or family members. He believes working with patients closely to identify their main complaint or dysfunction and then determining the cause. Together, they will come up with a reasonable set of goals and a plan to achieve those goals. Dr. Tsai then presents an individualized treatment plan to his patients, so they can make an informed choice that is best for them. Whatever the patient’s choice is, he will support them and continue offering recommendations based on their needs. Dr. Tsai is originally from Minnesota. His education has taken him all over the mid-west and is now happy to finally be settling down in Michigan. Dr. Tsai completed his residency training at University Hospitals – Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. He then went on to complete a Hand Surgery Fellowship at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago, IL. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Tsai enjoys biking, hitting the gym, playing tennis, watching action/adventure movies, and spending time with his wife and son.
