About Andrew Van Derlofske
Andrew Van Derlofske is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Adult Health. He has proudly served as a Naval Corpsman in the United States Naval Medical Corps and United States Marine Corps. He graduated with honors from the Stony Brook University School of Nursing and pursued a career at Stony Brook University Hospital as a Registered Nurse, working in the cardio-thoracic surgical care and cardiology critical care areas of medicine. Andrew completed his graduate work in the Stony Brook University Nurse Practitioner Program, graduating with honors and earning a Master's Degree in Nursing before becoming board certified in Adult Health. His solid work history and experience in cardiology, hematology, and oncology enable him to provide high-quality, evidence-based health care to our patients. He is dedicated, compassionate, and deeply concerned for the overall welfare of those he serves. His priority is to develop a trusting relationship with patients while providing the best possible medical care. Andrew loves the outdoors and is an avid fisherman who spends much of his spare time catching local species on Long Island. He respects the environment and is committed to protecting and keeping it clean for future generations.
