Dempster Therapeutic Services is the best place I could find for my son. Mr. Andrzej is an excellent speech therapist and extremely professional. He addressed our son's speech problems in a very detailed way and focused on finding the best possible solutions. We received very detailed instructions on what tests to perform before starting the session with Mr. Andrzej, and then all recommendations were discussed step by step. Mr. Andrzej is a wonderful person who has an amazing approach to children. Our son always leaves his office smiling and we are delighted with our son's progress. I was very concerned about my son's speech. I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Andrzej Lewandowski the bilingual speech therapist in his Des Plaines clinic. I was very pleased with professionalism and very accurate diagnosis. My son made noticeable progress after just 5 months. Mr. Lewandowski is very perceptive and responsive during therapy. You can tell that Mr. Lewandowski is proud of his work and the children he works with. He is able to target identified delays by using the client's strengths to support and build up weaknesses. This will help to build a solid foundation for language that will prepare patients for success in the school setting and their future. I am continuously impressed with his ability to identify delays, provide professional recommendations, and begin necessary treatment fairly quickly, while also giving me the opportunity to learn and be a part of the process.

My daughter enjoys working on bettering her speech with him, and he is walking encyclopedia of resources that help you work with your child at home to work synergistically. Even before we started seeing him , he provided us with a lot of material/tools/apps with which we hit the ground running, and are starting to see changes in pronunciation. Highly recommend this professional to caring parents who want their children achieve success in and out of school.

I have professionally witnessed his ability to address receptive, expressive, fluency and articulation delays in children aged 5-14. Moreover, his ability to comprehensively evaluate students in a timely manner, later on providing supports to make them successful in the school setting. Andrzej is a brilliant diagnostician for speech evaluations. My child's previous speech therapist failed to check her mouth for any problems that could affect speech. After his evaluation, Andrzej recommended a consultation with an ENT. It turned out that my daughter needed a simple procedure before starting speech therapy. We're very thankful. Thank you.

Even though Mr. Lewandowski just started working with my daughter I can see that she is already making progress. She loves the activities and Mr. Lewandowski always manages to engage her even though she is only two and very strong willed. He speaks perfect English and Polish which is excellent for me because we are bilingual and my two year old is mostly monolingual Polish. Mr. Lewandowski always communicates with me after each session and makes suggestions for the future.

Although we have found Andrew by accident, Andrew’s skill set as a speech therapist is not accidental at all. Andrew is super patient with kiddos, optimistic, organized, bilingual, meticulous, and very knowledgeable about the best speech therapy techniques. My 4-year-old non-verbal boy began sessions with Andrew a few weeks ago but we are already seeing small benefits in the overall communication patterns. I know that improvements will take time, but I am very optimistic that Andrew will be able to produce as much progress in my son’s communication capabilities as possible. I think my son really looks forward to his weekly sessions and various play activities they do. Finally, it was very easy to get the services set-up as Andrew stays on top of things and makes all paperwork and dealing with insurance very easy.
