I just got home from my 1st appt with Dr Wood and I can not wait to go back! She knows what she is doing and extremely passionate about her work. We had great conversation on top of that!
I went in seeking acupuncture for chronic lower back pain but I like that she also looks at your whole body... underlying issues that could be causing the pain. I know acupuncture isn’t just a one and done deal BUT my lower back already feels a better. I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment and I also want to try some

My mission is to bring about healing that is unique to each individual. I will utilize many different styles of healing medicine to open the door of wellness in your life. I believe that healing exist in all life and in many forms of energy. Its a matter of reintroducing yourself to the true person in the mirror while allowing the gifts in you to shine.
With a Medical Assistance Diploma from National Education Center, Biotechnology Degree from Baltimore City Community College, Medical and Research Technology/Biotechnology Degree from University Of Maryland Medical School, Master of Acupuncture Degree and Chinese Herb training from Tai Sophia Institute, Blood Born Pathogen Training, Radiation Training, Parenting Training, N.A.D.A Training, Clean Needle Technique Training. Angel is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).
Tai Sophia Institute is the first college in the United States of America to offer an accredited Masters Degree in Acupuncture and other natural healing modalities.
Angel spent 5 years studying Chinese Medicine under some of the top known Practitioners in complementary healing. She gained knowledge about how symptoms are viewed as a relationship with the whole body and in order to bring healing and balance to the whole person. We must explore the underlying cause of an illness or disease.

I have been plagued with pain and stiffness after breaking my ankle but after having treatments, my pain has gone and I can walk normally. These treatments have given me back my ability to walk normally again. Highly recommend.

Dr. Wood is very knowledgeable of the medicine she practice. Her office is very serene and tranquil and the environment is very welcoming. I would refer her to anyone especially those needing relief of pain and other ailments without the use of pharmaceuticals which masks issues as opposed to getting to the main cause of it.

I received acupuncture and other holistic services from Dr.Angel. Her breadth of knowledge and experience was both reassuring and comforting. I found her manner to be compassionate, considerate, extremely thorough, intuitive, calming and most importantly to me, down to earth. It is extremely important to me for a provider to exhibit both competence and compassion because, while I may lack the scope of knowledge the healthcare practitioner has, in no way does that diminish my humanity and so I do not care for clinical treatment devoid of compassion, humility and genuine civility. My experiences with Dr. Angel were simply phenomenal. I would highly recommend her to anyone...and I have!
