About Dr. Yan Guo
Acupuncture and Chinese herbs provide natural, safe, and holistic treatments. As a third-generation doctor of acupuncture and oriental medicine, Dr. Yan Guo is a national board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in modern acupuncture (Five Element), sports acupuncture (Master Tung's System), Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Classical Chinese Herbal Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Maryland University of Integrative Health and completed internships at the University of Maryland, Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, and Kaufman Cancer Center. Additionally, Dr. Yan holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Yan Guo thoroughly evaluates patients and designs customized treatment plans tailored to each individual. With a genuine passion for helping others, she is also a Buddhist practitioner who regularly attends meditation retreats.
