Houston Methodist Hospital is the best environment to continue to serve my patients, whom I am blessed to participate in their care. Dr. Angela Adkins is a fifth generation Texan, born in Austin. She attended the University of Texas at Austin graduating Phi Beta Kappa with highest Honors in the Plan II Honors Liberal Arts program and earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1993. She attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, graduating with honors and as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor society in 1997. She continued at Baylor in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery for her residency, marrying her husband in 2002, graduating in 2003, and board certified in Otolaryngology in 2004. She opened the first ENT office in Pearland Texas in 2003, Pearland ENT, P.A. Her husband joined the practice in 2005 and together they were blessed to serve the broader Pearland community for 16 years before joining Allergy and ENT Associates in 2019. Dr. Adkins in a longstanding member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, American College of Surgeons, and Texas and Harris County Medical Associations. Her clinical interests include rhinology, thyroid disease and pediatric otolaryngology. Although she has served as a medical staff member for more than 2 decades, the move to Methodist for her professional home will enhance her patients' experience given the advanced patient services that Methodist provides. Dr. Adkins is passionately committed to providing each patient with excellent care, accurate and timely diagnosis, a personalized treatment plan with the intent to resolve issues and improve quality of life.
