What should a new client know about working with you?

By the end of the first session, clients take away a strong sense of validation and confidence that their care is with the appropriate clinician that not only emphasizes shared decision-making but also is versed in psychopharmacological therapy. In each subsequent visit, clients can expect to have a combination of supportive psychotherapy and medication management components within their care at their therapeutic pace. Clients can expect me to remain fully present during their sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take an eclectic approach catered to each client’s needs through supportive psychoeducation, interpersonal approaches, attachment based approaches, and CBT. I approach care in a holistic and culturally sensitive manner that allows my clients to feel comfortable expressing themselves and to be proactive members in their own treatment. I create a safe environment that validates a person’s experiences as well as an environment that nurtures their resiliency.
