About Dr. Angelo Pace
Dr. Angelo Pace is a graduate of the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency training at Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey in 1993. Dr. Pace distinguished himself during his training serving as Chief Podiatric Surgical Resident. In private practice he has continued to maintain a level of distinction by becoming Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. He is on staff at the Inova Fairfax and Inova Mount Vernon Hospitals.
Dr. Pace has been part of the medical support for the New York, Boston, and Marine Corp Marathons, has helped organize the First Annual Multiple Sclerosis Run and has participated in community health fairs and foot screenings. Dr. Pace has enjoyed playing soccer throughout his life and has continued to stay active in the sport as a coach and Age Group Commissioner with Burke Athletic Club.
His expertise and training encompasses all aspects of foot and ankle disease / disorders. He has experience in sports medicine, diabetic foot care and treatment of foot and ankle conditions including bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, ankle sprains, wound care, and orthotic management. Dr. Pace is trained in the non-surgical treatment of chronic heel pain (Plantar Fascitis).
