About Dr. Angelo Reyes
Angelo T. Reyes, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He specializes in performing robotic and minimally invasive surgery, thoracic and lung surgeries, and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery. He is an expert in airway stenting, bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, thoracoscopic pleurodesis, thoracentesis, and surgery for mediastinal and chest wall tumors. He also treats esophageal cancer, motility disorders, lung cancer, hyperhidrosis, and provides minimally invasive repair of hiatal hernias. Dr. Reyes is a member of the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, and a diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He has published research in the American Journal of Gastroenterology and the journal Annals of Thoracic Surgery and delivers presentations on thoracic surgery at both national and international medical meetings. After earning his Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University (formerly Hahnemann University School of Medicine) in Philadelphia, Dr. Reyes completed his residency in general surgery at Montefiore Medical Center and fellowship training in thoracic and cardiothoracic surgery at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center. He is board certified in surgery and thoracic surgery.

Dr. Reyes was wonderful!!! He explained to me step by step about my problem. Showed me my CT scan, described what was happening and going on. And informed me on what is going to be the next steps taken to fix my problem. Most IMPORTANTLY he LISTENED to me. He subdued my fears and calmed me down. And his staff was excellent. Treated my wife and I great. Highly recommended for your looking for a thoracic surgeon A+++++
