Nurse came in she was sweet, doctor was polite diagnosed me pretty quick. Unfortunately when it was time to leave there was never clear instructions. No one ever came back and let me know that my prescription was sent over or if we were all finished; i just sat in the room for a while and then i finally got up and found the doctor and asked if i was finished

I'm so glad I was able to get an appointment so quickly! (Anna) Rachel Lamdin was kind and patience, and listened to my concerns. She ordered up my bloodwork, and gave me prescription refill options. She respected my privacy in the never-flattering paper gown, and assured me that I could communicate with her via the portal and get an answer within 24 hours. Her MA Fran was also lovely, as well as the Quest Diagnostics employee, Lauren, who did my bloodwork.

I had been trying to get a follow-up appointment with my new PCP for three months, but it was so difficult trying to get a date that I finally decided to try somewhere else. I picked MedStar Medical Group because of how easy it was to make an appointment, times of availability, and because I had been with MedStar before. My appointment happened before my new patient packet arrived in the mail, but they still already had all my information from previous appointments I had with MedStar. So I didn't need to fill out a bunch of extra paperwork. I got there about five minutes before my appointment time. When I walked in, before I even finished signing in, the front desk person was there to help me. She verified that my information was still accurate, scanned my ID and insurance, and before I even sat down, I was called back to the exam room. My vitals were taken as soon as I got back there. Then in the exam room, I waited less than five minutes before the doctor saw me. Also, she listened to me and addressed concerns that other doctors had not before. She picked up on things that other doctors had missed or just glazed over. I felt like I finally got answers and found a doctor who is knowledgeable and listens and shows she cares. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
