My name is Anna Lander, and I am a Dual Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family and Psychiatric Mental Health. I hold a Master's in Nursing from the University of Texas, Arlington, and a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley. With over 13 years of experience in psychiatry, I would love to assist you in understanding your challenges and collaborating on an individualized plan that works for you and your needs. I strive to help you take back control of your life.
I offer psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and basic therapy for a wide variety of mental health disorders, including depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, panic disorder, mood disorders, PTSD, autism, oppositional disorders, conduct disorders, insomnia, dissociative disorders, and personality disorders. We are committed to providing optimal mental health services tailored to your individual needs. Our goal is to create more self-aware and confident individuals who can, in turn, teach their youth the same and help change the cycle of mental health for the better.
What should a new client know about working with you?
It is expected that by the end of our first session, that we will have developed a plan that is comfortable and appropriate for your needs. Using an acceptance and solution-based framework, we will collaborate together to manage the problem in a healthy way. It is expected to received holistic and compassionate care with every interaction with me.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
