Dr. Carpenter is a BOARD CERTIFIED psychiatrist licensed in Georgia.
All appointments are over ZOOM.
She specializes in PTSD treatment and is trained in EMDR - the fastest most gentle type of therapy for people who have experienced trauma. People are welcome to see her for only medication management, but she will ask you to find a therapist separately. She is adamant that therapy is the GOLDEN KEY to personal growth and healing.

Initial appointments are 90 minutes. Follow-up appointments are 55 minutes for EMDR therapy and 25 minutes for "medication only."
Dr. C will streamline and minimize all medications… just as long as they’re doing their job. ;-). She believes medications should always do more FOR YOU than what they do TO YOU.
Dr. Carpenter DOES NOT PRESCRIBE or manage the use of Ketamine, MDMA, Psilocybin, LSD, Marijuana, Opioids, or Benzodiazepines.
