Dr. Anne E. Schroeder is a graduate of the University of Chicago where she was awarded the honor of placement on the Dean's List. After graduating from medical school, she went on to complete a medical internship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Schroeder then successfully completed her ophthalmology residency at Havener Eye Institute at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Schroeder is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. She enjoys treating adult patients, having experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and with a special emphasis on dry eye and ocular surface disorders.
Dr. Schroeder was born and raised in Chicago, and has crisscrossed the globe with her husband before settling in Arizona. When not attending to patients, Dr. Schroeder is an avid antiquer who enjoys the arts, watching English period dramas, and spoiling the newest member of their family – Jean-Luc, their precociously charming Coton de Tulear puppy.

They allowed me to keep my appointment even though I got hung up in traffic. The staff were all very friendly and seemed to care about all the patients. The doctor actually listened to my problems and provided answers to questions. She seemed to have the best interest of the patient in mind, not just what was best for her.

I am very pleased ?? with Dr Schroeder. I am also impressed of how caring she is, I asked her many questions, and she answered that in a way that I could understand. I was a nurses aide for 26 yrs, and I took care ofCardiac patients, and has some medical knowledge, but when it comes to the eyes, it is very intimidating, because of the nature of our eyes. Also, her assistant

Mt first visit to Dr. Anne Schroeder was very positive. Her staff is very pleasant and efficient and Dr. Schroeder, herself, struck me as thoroughly competent and pleasant. The examination I received was thorough and Dr. Schroeder took time to explain her findings and make sure that I understood them. The whole operation is really top drawer.

I'm a newly-retired RN, after 38+ years. It takes a lot to impress me. This entire office is filled with nice, warm, professional, friendly people!
Dr. Schroeder is out of this world! All of the above, plus she took time to educate me about my condition (result of severe concussion), what to watch for, etc. I've never been this impressed before!
You may have to wait a few minutes to be seen, but trust me, she is WORTH IT!
