Dr. Williams is an exceptionally caring person and is tireless in working to make her patients well. She practices a holistic quality of medicine grounded in science. Dr. Williams has even phoned me Friday evening to give me test results. She is the best.

Dr Williams has been practicing as a Family Physician in the Bay Area for 20 years, having completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Colorado, Denver, with board certification in Family Practice in 1988. She graduated with an M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in 1985, and a bachelor’s in Biology from Vassar College in 1977.
With a lifelong interest in other languages and cultures, and wanting to provide her patients with a broader range of therapeutic options, including non-pharmacologic modalities, she attended the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, obtaining an MS in TCM (Chinese Herbology and Acupuncture), and became a licensed acupuncturist in 1996.
Since that time her goal has been integrating both eastern and western approaches to helping her patients, tailoring the treatment to fit the individual’s preferences and needs.
