“After filling out my check-in forms as this was my initial visit with Dr. Lukose, I waited less than 10 minutes to be asked to the examination room. After going through the intake nurse's check-in, Dr. Lukose came in, introduced herself, and gave me a thorough exam. I then went in for an x-ray. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Lukose came in and explained what the x-ray showed and gave me a course of action. I took her advice and she proceded to give me 4 injections of cortisone into my neck and gave me a prescription. Within a few hours, the neck pain diminished to almost no pain at all. Thank you Dr. Lukose.”

About Dr. Annette Lukose
Dr. Annette Lukose is an interventional pain physician board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management, who treats a variety of chronic musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain disorders.
She treats a range of conditions including chronic back pain, neck pain, sacroiliac, peripheral joint pain, and nerve-related pain, as well as complex pain conditions including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), painful diabetic neuropathy, and post-surgical pain syndrome.
Dr. Lukose utilizes a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to treating chronic pain conditions while avoiding addictive medications. When indicated, she performs a variety of minimally invasive procedures including image-guided epidural injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and peripheral nerve stimulation, among others.
Dr. Lukose is a SUNY Downstate College of Medicine graduate and completed an internship at Greenwich Hospital in internal medicine. She then completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Lukose went on to complete a fellowship in pain medicine at George Washington University Hospital. During her fellowship, she worked per diem as a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Reston Hospital Center.

The doctor offered strong pain killers, lidocaine, and injections off the bat for my 9 bad pain that comes and goes. I understand that MDs are trying to be empathic, but doling out narcotics with a pick your pleasure attitude is very odd! Doctor, if you know whats best tell us and give your reasond... you are the professional. And gatekeep a little on the drugs...

On paper she seemed good but she seemed kind of annoyed by my asking a few basic questions and seemed to rush and not explain what was going on. The lady at the front desk and x ray technician were both really helpful and kind but the doctor seemed very basic in terms of expertise and guidance.

Had severe neck and back pain and was able to book an appointment with her at this office on short notice. The office is impeccably clean . I was seen exactly at the time of my appointment. After a thorough background health check and X-rays, I was given the appropriate medication and shots to alleviate the pain. The office also has a physical therapy facility. 100% recommended
