She moved to Baltimore, MD, and worked as a nurse for the Johns Hopkins Hospital. When she finished her time in nursing, she attended the University of Massachusetts and completed her residency training in family medicine. She came to Utah in 2010 and has been practicing family medicine with a particular interest in preventative health, acute and chronic disease care, mental health, and geriatrics. Dr. Piacitelli loves to hike, bake, and sing but finds the most joy in spending time with her husband and kids.
