He is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Before joining Riverside, Dr. Al-Haddawi worked as an attending physician at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital for five years, where he received the Best Young Teaching Attending Award in 2004. Since joining Riverside in 2005, he has cared for children in our Union City office. In recognition of his excellent patient care, Dr. Al-Haddawi received the Award of Recognition from Riverside Pediatric Group in 2008. Dr. Al-Haddawi has a special interest in treating children with asthma and obesity. His philosophy in practicing pediatrics is to always keep parents well informed about their children’s care and treatment plans. He involves parents in all aspects of patient care, believing they are the “best partners in achieving the best outcome for our patients.” A devoted family man, Dr. Al-Haddawi enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as outdoor activities, nature, and reading.
