Good experience. Friendly staff good doctor.

I found him to be very dry. He kept asking me the same question as to why I left my previous pain management dr as if he didn't believe what I was saying. Not warm and friendly, which is fine but it wasn't a great first impression. He scheduled me to have an injection even though I told him they don't work for me. The injection office is in Queens. So I'd have to basically pay for an Uber to get a shot that doesn't work for me. To top it off, he was told the wait at the queens office is up to 3 hours! That's insane to me. His office on third avenue, not listed here for some reason; they have an entirely different address listed here; was very clean and spacious. My appointment date that is listed here is different also. After I made the appointment I was called and told that because I'm a new patient I have to be scheduled at the main office which is the third avenue one.
Went to this doctor because on Zoc Doc they were in my network. When I arrive they inform me that I am out of network after waiting for an hour for my appt. I was then told to go for an MRI in which I made an appt for 3 days later. When I arrived at the facility for the MRI they informed me the doctor office never called to preauthorize the MRI. All of the receptionists are very unprofessional and can’t simply do their job correctly.
Very thorough and welcoming.

Dr.Lerner is good at his profession but his staff on the other hand is clueless to much unprofessional chatter to care for the patients needs such as booking radiology appointments and following up with the patient before the schedule appointment to give further information or instructions
Verified patient
Dr. Lerner listened to what I had to say. He provided straight answers and feed back. He kept it simple for an initial visit, I am quite stable currently but did need to connect with a pain management doctor. I look forward to him developing a helpful treatment plan of care, and establishing a mutual respectful doctor/patient relationship.

He took the time to explain everything and let me ask question wasn't in a rush to get me out of his office took time explaining everything to me

Dr Lerner takes time for your questions and has never made me feel uncomfortable or stupid for the questions I ask...I feel very comfortable with him. I would highly recommend him.The staffs were incredible and made me feel at right hands.
Verified patient
Dr. Lerner takes his time to listen to your issues and complaints. I never feel rushed during my office visits. Office staff is very polite and friendly and office manager, Pramela is 'spot on'. She is both efficient and proficient in her job.

Awful! Awful!
The Dr. was a listener and took the time out to ask questions. He didn't rush and made me feel at least hopeful that I can be helped with this pain. Suggested MRI's and Injections. A good start. Asked 4 urinalysis and have to go back next week.
The front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The doctor himself was thorough, easy to get along with, and explained what was needed for me to get treatment,
Verified patient
very caring.
Straight to the point
Competent, friendly and caring. I will be back
Not only were the Front desk employers extreamly comforting , but Doctor Lerner when out of his way to take me as a first time patiant ! The first apperance of the office is house like feeling, rather then a medical office. The whole experince was very professional, and would recommend Dr Lerner to others even if its a distance away. Sometimes its worth going out of your way for proper services/ treatment! Thank you Eric H
