The doctor was great, as was the person at the front desk. However, there were 3 patients to be seen ahead of me, at my appointment time. This resulted in a wait time of 75 minutes. In addition, I booked an available slot on ZocDoc, only to receive a phone call from the doctor's office telling me that the slot was actually not available, forcing me to reschedule. So, there are obviously systemic issues with the scheduling that needs to be addressed in order to better serve the patients. …read more

My appointment with Dr. Garcia was flawless. Her reception was actually out sick, so she handled everything from check-in to check-out herself with grace. I was there early in the morning with no other patients so there was no wait to be seen. I arrived at 10:30 for an 11:30 appointment (very early, I know, but I was in the neighborhood and would’ve had to wait regardless). Dr. Garcia didn’t see me until 12:30, and when I told her I wouldn’t be returning because it took her an hour to take me after my appointment time, she told me (condescendingly) my appointment wasn’t until 1:40. Apparently my appointment through zocdoc needs to be confirmed by them, and 11:30 didn’t work for them so they changed it to 1:40 without notifying me of a change except for a voicemail the day prior “confirming your appointment with Dr. Garcia at 1:40” which, admittedly, I didn’t listen to fully because the voicemail was not notifying me of a change, but just confirming the appointment which I assumed was the appointment I was already aware of, which I had made for 11:30 am. When I showed Dr. Garcia my confirmation for 11:30, she didn’t respond and I was told they’ve been having issues with zocdoc, but was given no formal apology for my wait. However, my experience with the practice was horrible.I was at the practice at 3:50 pm for 4 pm appointment. I was not taken in until 5:15 pm. The receptionist was clueless and the doctor took another patient before me because they double booked and told me to wait 15 minutes. I waited 60 mins more to just see the doctor after that. I actually didn't realize I needed a final confirmation email from Zocdoc, so I went to my appointment and it turned out that it hadn't been made. But Dr. Garcia still saw me after her other patients and was patient, was very thorough in her questions, and listened carefully to me despite it being past 7 pm. She was knowledgeable and kind.
