While the Dr. himself would get top rating from me, his staff needs training on professionalism and etiquette. The ladies at the front desk do NOT honor patient privacy AT ALL, asking patient information from their desk with patients sitting across the room in the waiting area. I know everyone is entitled to making mistakes but the wrong notes were attached to my file. I had a discrepancy with my insurance verification. I was incorrectly told that I was not fully covered for a test, and instead of someone checking I called my insurance to verify it myself. When one of the assistants behind the desk was telling me the procedure code another rudely told her not to tell me. Not that anyone else was going to verify for me. When the technician took my blood, I bled like never before! All over my dress, on the floor etc. She apologized profusely and it wasn't her fault but by this time I was beyond annoyed with this visit. Dr. Chattoo was recommended to me with high praises by a friend whom I respect, otherwise I'd have gone elsewhere. I hope the ladies at the front desk learn some bedside manner and more importantly professionalism.
