About Dr. Arthur Kitt
Arthur Kitt, M.D., M.P.H., is a fellowship-trained pain management specialist at Orlin and Cohen. Passionate about improving the quality of life for everyone he treats, Dr. Kitt combines the latest research and pain management techniques with a personalized approach to achieve better patient outcomes.
Dr. Kitt earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Critical Care and his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received the Dell Burkey Award as the most Outstanding Pain Fellow. He then spent five years on the faculty at Penn, serving as associate pain fellowship director and residency clerkship director. He later served as Director of Pain Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital for two years before joining Orlin and Cohen in Long Island.
Recognized as a leader in his field, Dr. Kitt is a sought-after speaker with leading professional societies, including the Eastern Pain Association. He has researched, presented, and published on numerous interventional pain topics, including opioid dependence, perioperative analgesia, complex regional pain syndrome, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and surgical spine procedures.

Once I was led to the Dr's office, it took less than 5 minutes when he arrived with an assistant. Both were friendly, attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this doctor. It's very rare to find so many positive traits from doctors that I've experience.
