He is a board-certified family practice physician with over 20 years of experience in private practice, caring for a wide range of age groups from 5 years old and up. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Southside Hospital. He moved to this area from Florida in 2020, where he had his private medical practice.
His goal as a physician is the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, prevention, treatment, and longevity. He follows a simple philosophy of being healthy inside and outside the body, with individualized recommendations to achieve these goals. He is knowledgeable in nutraceuticals and natural supplements as a means to promote internal well-being in addition to his traditional medical and health management approaches.
He is experienced in non-invasive and minimally invasive aesthetic services and is ready to offer these services to those interested, complementing their individualized and personalized care plans to promote the healthy goals of prevention, healing, and longevity.

I am really glad to have Star Family Medicine for my primary care needs. Dr. Livani has a calm demeanor and he offers very practical guidance to address my issues/concerns. His front office staff, nurses, and the phlebotomist are consistently friendly and helpful. And the office itself is clean and well lit.

Dr. Livani and his staff are the best! He takes time to make sure of all that concerns the patient for the best treatment possible. The telehealth visits go through easily on the My Privia app, where one can check for lab results and appointments. As well, Dr. Livani's staff occasionally calls to see how the patient is doing, so we can't say enough good things about them. Our family highly recommends Star Family Medical!

I had an excellent visit with Dr. Livani today, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the level of care I received. From the moment I walked into the office, the staff was friendly and efficient, which made check-in a breeze.

This is the most horrifying experience I have ever had at the doctor. Stay away from this place.
First off, there are so many signs at the front for facials, Botox, and alternative medicine that I had to ask the front desk receptionist if this was really a family care practice. She said, of course.
Next, I told her I was from North Carolina, and she told me that she thought the hurricanes were a conspiracy. She used the word conspiracy.
Then, the nurse doing my intake could not spell or pronounce the common medications I take. Like Zyrtec.
Finally, I talked to doctor Livani about my migraines. After a conversation, he asked me, “Have you tried prayer?” This is the first time I’ve seen him, and this was not listed as a Christian medical practice. I told him no, that my family wasn’t particularly religious. He DOUBLED DOWN and said that there is only one Christ and it never hurts to try praying.
I could not wait to leave. I can’t believe this place is real.
