I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard and valued. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and holistic—I listen without judgment, explain clearly, and work side by side throughout the care process. My approach combines evidence-based medicine with a compassionate, whole-person perspective. Together, we’ll focus not only on easing symptoms but also on supporting overall balance and well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Great listener and bedside manner. Took my concerns and medical history seriously. Great appointment where I know I want to continue to see this provider.

Despite their name, mental health does not matter at this location. Though our appointment went well and I wanted to continue on, the aftermath was a mess. After being without insurance and medication for a month, I respectfully followed up with my insurance information once my employer was finally able to provide it and transparently shared the issues I was having with accessing my information. I shared my information and followed up over the course of 3 days on my prescription. I emailed multiple times, respectfully asking when my prescription would be filled, to no response. I called multiple times after not recieveing email responses asking for clarification. When I reached out one last final time via phone to share that I would leave a review of my experience if I did not recieve a response, I was immediately discharged from care. This is a deeply unprofessional and discriminatory business relying on abuse of power to withold medication from those in need.

Ms. Ashika was very personable, with wonderful bedside manner. She listened to me explain myhealth challenges and advised me to what needed to do nex and if I needed to see a doctor in person. She even took the initiative tofollow up with me a few days later to see if my health situation was improving.
Highly recommend, I've been working with her for a while now and am doing a lot better. She's verrryyyy relatable. You don't come across many providers that take the time out to really get to know you and still really know their stuff...you can tell she really cares.
From the very first phone call, I knew I was in good hands. She listened with such genuine care and compassion — something you can feel instantly. Meeting her in person was an absolute dream. Her warm smile and kind energy put me at ease from the very first hello. Throughout our time working together, she’s stayed in touch, always checking in and sharing helpful resources so I can truly understand things in my own way. She treats you like family — not just a patient. A true gem and a rare find in this field! Highly, highly recommend.
We did not have a visit. I was calling about the free 15 consultation. She was very helpful with information about the sessions. She was professional and polite. Great personality! Awesome mannerism.
She has been my mentor for a couple of years. The best support system I have ever experienced in a medical profession with the level of care, compassion, concern and attention that is provided from her you won’t be disappointed.
Nurse Dickerson listens and thoroughly assessed my child's history against symptoms. Additionally, she considered medications previously stopped and the current ones taken. She followed up to see how my child was doing after treatment. I would highly request her again for our family!
Amazing experience and highly recommend.
I love Ms. Ashika! She’s amazing at what she does. The time she put into understanding your issues, the effort she puts into researching the most holistic approaches to aide you in, the immense knowledge she has, and omg the CARE! Words can’t describe how amazing she and her services are! Highly recommend 10 out of 10!
I’ve had a very positive experience with Ms. Dickerson. From the first appointment, she’s created a safe, supportive space where I felt comfortable opening up. She listens attentively without judgment and take the time to explain treatment options clearly, making sure I understand every step of the process. Her approach is compassionate yet professional, and I truly feel that my well-being is her priority. I’ve noticed real improvements in both my mental health and overall outlook since starting treatment, and I’m grateful for her guidance and expertise. I would highly recommend Ms. Dickerson to anyone seeking a thoughtful, caring nurse practitioner :) !
