About Ashley White
“I am honored to be able to help serve others through my career, and I am grateful for the opportunity to build relationships with so many wonderful individuals from our community, each with their own unique story.”
I grew up in small town Bellevue, Iowa right along the Mississippi river before attending St. Ambrose University for my undergraduate degree. From there, I attended the PA program at Des Moines University. My fiancé and I moved to Tucson for the beautiful scenery and warm weather. I can’t wait to build a community of patients and enjoy everything Tucson has to offer both professionally and personally!
Throughout my years in high school and college, I worked as an optometry patient technician, as a CNA in a long-term care facility, and as a patient care technician on the surgical specialty unit. Then, I attended Des Moines University for my physician assistant training, where I completed rotations in general surgery, cardiology, urgent care, pediatrics, psychiatry, neurology, family medicine, internal medicine, rheumatology, women’s health, and emergency medicine.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as trying new coffee shops and restaurants. I also enjoy relaxing at the pool and going for hikes.

Right from the start I didn't wait and was greeted with a smile and kindness like I was visiting a friend. No wait after put in a room, and the Dr was so patient with me. She didnt just hear me but listen. I was a person not a chart. In 7 years this is the first time I was not just the next patient but someone in need and treated like they cared to actually help. I know it was my 1st appointment but the NP, Nurse, and staff were all amazing and never kept me waiting. It was amazing. I was so shook.

She is amazing! I have been struggling with a health issue for the last two years and have had it minimized or dismissed by two other providers. Today was the first time I felt listened to and validated. She was attentive, compassionate and immediately had a plan to help me. She went above and beyond to answer every question I had. Everyone I encountered on my visit was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I am so grateful to have found this office.

I made this appointment to establish my medical care needs in Tucson. As an experienced RN myself, I felt the appointment was the typical new patient along with some suggested testing for baselines I had not done before. My Prevnar 20 IM shot was pretty tender. I got referrals for specific needs and set up for baseline labs. All in all it went very smoothly

Finally a doctor that listens! Everything is also in house! Blood taken same day; I needed a pregnancy test, done; metabolic test; Pap smear scheduled. All in house. She also made me feel very comfortable and it was easy to talk to her.
My previous doctor brushed me off and she listened! Everything I wanted done, she agreed! Love it! I’ve already recommended her to 3 or 4 others who want to switch from the same doctor or need new ones. :)

Hard to believe the previous reviews are real… Why offer appointments if they can’t be honored. I booked the appointment and really needed/ relied on my visit the office was about an hour away from me. I was under the impression Zocdoc was used to help others receive care when if you needed someone quick. I found this office about 3 days before the appointment and the morning of they called to tell me they didn’t have time for me and would be canceling. I was devastated, I called back and was in full tears. The response was maybe urgent care can help. Very disappointing. There is no way I can understand her rating being like this besides the fact that there are no comments to the review. I’d just say be wary of if your appointment here will be honored, make a backup so if you have an emergency like I had you can be cared for.
