Qualifications and Experience
Dr. Ashley Marcus MD, specialty is Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, a physiatrist, who completed a musculoskeletal fellowship in Interventional Pain Management, sports, and occupational medicine. She first decided to become a physiatrist when she realized that focusing on physical medicine and rehabilitation would allow her to improve patients’ functional status and quality of life. She has made it her mission to promote her patient’s functional recovery so that they can go back to the activities that they love. She attended medical school at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and then completed an internship in internal medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. She embraced leadership during her residency at Nassau University Medical School, where she was the chief resident as well as the president of the resident’s council. In order to obtain further training, she returned to Rutgers to complete a fellowship in musculoskeletal medicine. She is a member of the Spine Intervention Society and the New York Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and believes in staying up to date with the most current evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Marcus listened carefully to my history and description of the pain I was experiencing, conducted a thorough examination and recommended therapy that has already had a beneficial effect. The office staff was friendly and efficient, as were the very knowledgeable and professional rehab staff.
Dr. Marcus was attentive. Listened as I explained my condition. Was understanding and caring. After the eval immediately assigned me to a Physical Therapist.which they have on site. Vanessa the P.T also kind tried to ease the pain I was having at that moment. I like the place. The Atmosphere is pleasant. We all have our good and bad days. I sure do. They are understanding and are they to help. They are stuck with me as a patient. ????. I would recommend Marcus. Vanessa My Physical Therapist. As well the others P.T to anyone and everyone who NEEDS pain management.
I was so impressed with my overall experience! The team at Precision care were knowledgeable and very concerned. Dr Marcus and her assistant (Tanya) were so reassuring and kind . I definitely give the practice an A plus rating. I felt confident that my care was in the hands of capable professionals. I did the cryrotheraphy which was exhilarating, I can already feel relief.
Dr. Marcus is by far the best doctor I have seen in a long time. I have three herniated discs and am in constant pain. Ever since i started having issues with my back, I have seen quite a few medical providers and have not felt comfortable continuing to work with them... until seeing Dr. Marcus. I have never encoutered a pain specialist as patient, kind, and down to earth as she. She is very proffessional and down to earth- a rare commodity in tge world of pain management doctors. She was very thorough, and she patiently listened to all of my concerns and needs. She is very knowledgeable and provided me with solutions. The hour trip was worth it and I will be using her as my primary doctor for pain management. In addition, they do physical therapy in the same office. The physical therapist was able to see me on the spot for a quick exam to determine what my treatment needs will be. I will be going back weekly for physical therapy. As far as the office staff goes... they were great too!!! I am extremely satisfied and strongly recommend to anyone dealing with chronic back pain.
With all honestly she seemed very sarcastic , she made a lot of really snooty comments , I really thought she was making fun of me . The facility is beautiful , it really is but as far as Dr. Marcus I wouldn’t recommend at all . If you have chronic pain find a different doctor , she won’t treat you or listen to you . I felt like she really was judging me and throwing her weight around .
