I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University in 2017. After nursing school, I worked in the Emergency Department. I continued my education and earned my Master of Science in Family Health Nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia, in 2021. I also completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice at Graceland University. I have worked in specialties such as neurology and pediatrics before deciding to focus fully on family practice. I am certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. While most of my background is in emergency care, I naturally enjoy urgent care visits. I also appreciate primary care because it allows me to build lasting relationships and care for patients throughout their lifespan. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our young children, photography, and working out. I love a good urgent care issue and wellness visits.

I booked with another doctor but got a notification of a new doctor doing the appointment. I was upset about the switch without being notified. However, the doctor I spoke with was awesome! She communicated well, had a great attitude and made it feel homie and relaxed but still concerned about my health. No judgements or opinion just concentrated about my health.

Dr forgot about appointment and didn’t answer messages. Pharmacy had issues fulfilling perception and she didn’t answer their messages or mine. Felt like this waste of time

Unfortunately I was not able to resolve my issue due to situation. However, I would highly recommend this doctor. She was kind and friendly and helpful (again, situational issues from a misunderstanding by me).and she pointed me in the right direction for being able to get the care I need. There was an almost 2 hour wait before I got seen though. I thought they forgot about me for a while. However, I was also a last minute addition to the schedule so that could have been part of the problem. Also, Zocdoc didn’t forward me the right information to begin with so I had to make a couple phone calls to resolve that before the appointment started. So I don’t blame her for the confusion and mixup. I blame Zocdoc for not being more specific about what it is that their actual service limitations are!!!
***the situation was I lived too far away and I would have to be seen in person for what I was trying to accomplish. I need a new PCP, and Telemed isn’t capable of doing that.
