About Dr. Aya Ahram
Dr. Aya Ahram is a dermatologist specializing in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Originally from Denver, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado, graduating summa cum laude, before going to earn her medical degree at Rocky Vista University in Colorado. She completed her residency at Palisades Medical Center in New Jersey, before deciding to make New York City home.
She enjoys treating a variety of conditions in all skin types, including skin cancer screenings, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, alopecia, and other medical dermatology issues, as well as aesthetic treatments such as Botox, chemical peels, microneedling, and other resurfacing procedures. She is passionate about building trusting relationships with her patients to serve them with comprehensive dermatological care. Her approach focuses on understanding each individual’s goals and devising holistic plans that are tailored to their needs. Dr. Ahram prides herself on patient education and strives to make patients feel like active participants in their care.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Outside of medicine, she loves traveling, yoga, exploring the city, and meeting new people.

Absolutely phenomenal experience with Dr. Aya! So much so that even though it takes me about 3 hours round trip to see her, I will not see anyone else ever again. She is not only patient, but she listens and she wants to understand your concerns. She takes the time to explain the process of her recommendations to you and at the front she speaks with empathy and intelligence.
