Getting to know Bayowa Ajidahun
I work with adults and adolescents facing depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, and other challenges that can feel overwhelming or isolating. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive psychotherapy, giving us the flexibility to treat both immediate symptoms and the deeper patterns that affect your daily life. I believe in whole-person care—addressing not just mental health symptoms, but how they connect to your relationships, routines, and overall well-being.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Reaching out for help takes courage, and I want you to know you don’t have to go through this alone. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I believe in providing compassionate, personalized care that meets you exactly where you are. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be open about your struggles and feel supported in taking the next steps forward.
I get my patients on ZOCDOC but see my patients via HEADWAY. I will also be sending forms via HEADWAY. Please fill out the policy forms and assessments.Thanks

Together, we’ll build a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and lifestyle—something realistic, empowering, and sustainable. Bayowa Ajidahun, who goes by his middle name, Nelson, is an excellent psychiatric nurse, whom I trust and deeply appreciate. I came to him in crisis, during the worst depression of my life. I needed medication, but I was afraid to try it. His calm demeanor and patience in answering my questions and educating on medication options put me at ease. He has now been my provider for several months, leading to great progress and improvement.
