Being a healthcare provider allows me the privilege of participating in a collaborative relationship with patients who trust in me being a part of their care. It also allows me to be part of their progress in meeting their health goals.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
The primary care provider should be a collaborator and manager of the holistic aspects of patient care, encompassing both physical and mental health, understanding their interconnectedness for overall wellbeing.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I like to volunteer and help animal charities, play hockey and ski, as well as spend quality time with my family.
