About Dr. Benjamin Elgamil
Dr. Benjamin Elgamil caters to patients of all ages with foot and ankle concerns. He is a native of Maryland and has successfully treated thousands of patients in pain.
Dr. Elgamil earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University. He went on to spend three years of comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency training in the Aria Health System at the Aria 3B Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia, PA. During this time, Dr. Elgamil served as Chief Resident and focused on conservative treatments and innovative surgical correction of foot and ankle fracture care, diabetic limb salvage, and deformity correction.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has published in the Journal of Arthritis and the Annals of Sports Medicine and Research. He is on the active staff at Howard County General Hospital, Lifebridge Health: Northwest and Sinai Hospital, University of Maryland: St. Joseph Medical Center and Columbia Ambulatory Surgical Center, along with Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
