About Dr. Benjamin Fernando
This is a PRIMARY CARE visit - not a specialist appointment (for example, dermatology or obstetrics and gynecology).
He earned his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University in New York, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He went on to attend St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Fernando is affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (GAFP). He has been practicing medicine in Georgia for the past 14 years.

Very friendly and warm staff! Immediately came in and secretary greeted me and was aware of my appointment. I sat probably less than 10 min in the lobby area and was seen by this doctor! Very personable, attentive, and made the appointment feel like a casual conversation. I definitely recommend for men especially 35+ to establish a relationship with a doctor.
