“I just visited her for medical clearance for my hip replacement surgery. She was very professional in examining me and reviewing my medial records.|She was concerned that hemoglobin count had gone and explained to me her concerns, since I was having surgery. She informed me that there was a possibility of internal bleeding. She requested that I see a hematologist to make sure that I did not have a problem during surgery. |I was able to get an appointment the next day with s hematologist and was able to get my medical clearance for the surgery. She called me as soon as she heard from the hematologist let me know that I was getting medical clearance. I really appreciate her concern.”

I recently had a primary care appointment scheduled with Dr. Bianca Garcia, but when I arrived, I was unexpectedly seen by a physician assistant instead. There was no prior notification about this change, which was frustrating and caught me off guard.
Unfortunately, the appointment itself was the least thorough annual check-up I’ve experienced. The visit felt very rushed and transactional, and I did not feel that my medical concerns were fully heard or validated. A primary care visit should feel comprehensive and patient-centered, and this experience fell short of those expectations.
I hope the office can improve communication with patients regarding provider changes and take steps to ensure that visits feel more attentive and thorough in the future.
