About Dr. Brian Goldstein
Brian Goldstein, D.O., is a highly skilled expert in pain management, offering the latest cutting-edge techniques and procedures to alleviate acute and chronic pain. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Maimonides Medical Center and is fellowship trained in interventional pain medicine at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Goldstein is a board-certified anesthesiologist as well as an interventional pain management specialist.
He has extensive experience in a variety of interventions, including epidurals, facet injections, nerve blocks, neurolytic procedures, and radiofrequency ablation, as well as other minimally invasive interventional and ultrasound-guided techniques. He believes in an evidence-based multidisciplinary approach, with personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs. I have been seeing him for years, from trigger shots to Epidurals, he cares about his patients and wants them to lead their best lives.
I have never waited more then 10 minutes from my appointment time to see him,

This doctor ONLY works with spine and back issues. I was unaware of this before I went in, and had looked at his profile and the website. I have widespread pain and many issues (fibromyalgia, arthritis, migraines, had recent surgery on my foot for which my surgeon said I needed to see a pain management doctor for when the opioids were out, which I was fine with). I was so excited to see him when I arrived and devastated when he said he could help with the back pain sometime if he wanted (although he didn’t say now), and he sent me on my way. I don’t know if I was charged yet. I would see someone else there, it was so nice, but he was so pretty quick to dismiss me. Really nice guy in general, but not a sympathetic bedside manner if you don’t fall under his care. He kind of gave me a recommendation. I can’t say whether or not I’d recommend. But if you’re not going for your back or spine, don’t bother. It cost me a few hours and lots of pain after.

I went w my father who has had back pain for decades of his life. He got a cortisone shot and he walked out of the office pain free for the first time in years with tears of joy rolling down his face - he said he had long forgotten what it felt like to not be in pain.
