“I really appreciate the care Brianna showed during our appointment. She listened closely, asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel comfortable opening up about things that aren’t always easy to talk about. What stood out most is that she involved me in every step, we talked through options together and I never felt rushed or dismissed. She was kind, knowledgeable, and patient. I left feeling supported and more hopeful about getting on the right track with my mental health. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a provider who genuinely cares.”

Getting to know Brianne Brown

If you’ve been dealing with stress, poor sleep, weight changes, or difficulty focusing, you’re not alone. Many people find me during periods when things feel harder to manage and they want clearer answers. My background includes advanced training in psychiatry, addiction medicine, and medical weight management. I work with adults and older teens treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, PTSD, and recovery-related concerns. I also prescribe FDA-approved GLP-1 medications (Zepbound, Wegovy, and Mounjaro) and do not use compounded products.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is calm, structured, and collaborative. We start by slowing things down and getting a clear picture of what’s actually going on, including a comprehensive mental health screening that looks at mood, focus, trauma, sleep, and adverse childhood experiences. Visits aren’t rushed. Most follow-ups are 45 minutes so we can think through changes carefully, especially when medication is involved. I prescribe thoughtfully and conservatively, with an emphasis on safety, clarity, and long-term stability. Scheduling is straightforward, and you can reach me through the app or by phone if support is needed between visits. I also complete IDFPR substance-use evaluations for nursing and other licensing boards. These are handled professionally, respectfully, and without judgment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Before your first visit, you’ll complete a secure digital screening to help identify key areas to focus on, including mood, attention, sleep, trauma history, and substance use. Your initial appointment is a comprehensive evaluation. We review your history, current concerns, and screening results, then outline next steps. This may include medication recommendations, treatment planning, referrals, or monitoring, depending on what’s appropriate. Follow-up visits are typically 45 minutes. We review progress over time, including screening results, labs when relevant, and how things are showing up day to day. Between visits, you can use the app to message, track goals, and schedule appointments, allowing care to stay consistent rather than fragmented.

If I am not in-network with your private health insurance, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits. My practice helps patients by filing out-of-network claims at no cost to you, so you don’t have to deal with confusing paperwork or long phone calls with insurance companies. Submitting a claim is simple, paperless, and only takes a few minutes. Patients can also quickly check their benefits in advance, so you’ll know what your coverage looks like before your visit. This makes it easier to understand your options, track claims, and get reimbursed faster — all without added stress.
