Dr. Aicher’s research has appeared in numerous peer-reviewed publications, and she has presented nationally on vascular surgery topics. She has won numerous research and teaching awards. Dr. Aicher earned her medical degree from New York Medical College, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha status. She completed her residency in General Surgery at University of Maryland Medical Center, where she completed a research fellowship studying molecular pathways involved in the development of aortic aneurysms and dissections. She completed her vascular surgery fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, part of Harvard Medical School.
