About Dr. Carl Sartori

Carl Sartori, MD, MA, FAAP, is a clinician educator and attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Sartori’s clinical focus centers on prevention and education. He enjoys teaching patients and their families about healthy lifestyles that they can continue throughout their lives. He is also passionate about vaccines and educating families on the importance and safety of vaccines. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences from Binghamton University in 2010, Dr. Sartori earned his Master of Arts in biological sciences at the same institution in 2011. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten in 2016. Following this, Dr. Sartori completed his pediatric residency at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo in 2021, where he was also a clinical assistant instructor of pediatrics. Dr. Sartori’s research focuses on education and curriculum building. His work involves collaborating with the department to develop a circumcision curriculum for residents, as well as being active in lecturing residents and medical students on general pediatrics, milestones and vaccines. His work has been shared through peer-reviewed publications, poster presentations and oral presentations. Dr. Sartori is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Medical Association (AMA). From 2022 to 2024, Dr. Sartori received the Dr. Daniel T. Cloud Outstanding Toddler Practice Immunization Award and the Dr. Daniel T. Cloud Outstanding Teen Practice Immunization Award.
