I felt really rushed -- I think I was the last appointment of the day. The doctor spoke very quickly and it seemed like she and the assistant were at one point working on two parts of my body -- feltlike something on a conveyor belt. Not much follow-up information on treated areas other than the scabs would fall off. Never asked about regimes etc. I was told to have a dermatology appointment every year and I have already looked up a new doctor for that time.

I just thought it was fast, she didn't really let me speak about my concerns or other things. She was fast and interrupted me a little. Other then that she was sweet and nice

I felt as it went well. I was seen as soon as I got there and my concerns were addressed. The one thing that did take me back was that I heard another guest walk in and say she was infor her 10am appointment while mine was at 9:45am. I just wonder did she just rush through my appointment to make it to the next. What if I needed more than 15 minutes, would she have made the other guest wait? Other than that, it all went well.

Overall my experience is positive, nothing too crazy stands out. I do plan on being a return patient of Dr. Sanchez for as long as I am able to; rapport is important to me. From my handful of visits with her,I felt she was somewhat impersonal and even a bit pushy regarding her own agenda. There have also been times when I've had to remind her of my previous visits and test results despite the fact that she and the nurse had my office visits and medical history readily available (they carry iPads for the purpose of convenience which is great, I just wish they took better advantage of it). I've also learned to communicate in a "matter-of-fact" way when discussing my health with her; she has the tendency to answer her own questions (directed to me) and it is discouraging. There was one occasion after an appointment where I felt doubtful that I'd receive the results and/or care I was looking for because I was unable to efficiently communicate my wants and needs. Perhaps Dr. Sanchez's bedside manner could be improved. No patient wants to feel rushed or waved off even though I don't believe she intends to do this. Dr. Sanchez has proven to be detail-oriented and is more than willing to conduct biopsies or other tests on the spot if any inkling of doubt exists between her and/or the patient. However, as I mentioned above regarding my own experience, the patient must be confident in what it is they are looking to resolve or understand from their appointment and it must be clearly communicated to her. Dr. Sanchez takes a conservative approach and does not try to "up-sell" you on any unnecessary procedures or skin care products. I can't express how much I appreciate this as so many dermatologists I've met with in the past are prone to this behavior. To conclude, nobody is perfect and I don't think it's worth the effort and frustration to "shop" around for doctors. I try to weigh the pros and cons in any type of relationship. Regarding Dr. Sanchez, I am confident that she is knowledgeable and provides adequate care despite our personality differences. A manageable pet peeve such as this is unlikely to control my overall opinion.

I was pretty disappointed with my time at the office. I was not seen until an hour later and after waiting in the room for an hour, doctor Carla spent less than 5 mins with me... My answers were not answeredand I was left to ask those questions about my health condition to the nurse assisting the doctor. Overall, disappointed with my experience :( Wouldn't recommend making other plans immediately after the appointment as you may have a wait time longer than expected.

Dr. Sanchez-Palacios was delayed to my appointment, helping out another patient. I have a sneaking suspicion there were two of us scheduled at the same time though, since no other patients were there when we checked in at the same time.I had to wait for Dr. Sanchez-Palacios for 30 minutes before she came in to see me. She spent 5 minutes in the room with me and didn't provide a lot of information into my concerns. Overall, I can't tell what I should expect and how to tell if my situation worsens.

She was incredible dismissive. We had about 3 minutes (if that) of face time for a very expensive visit. She barely looked at my moles and said they were fine without even really checking them. I had skin tags and lotsof new freckles which she brushed over them just trying to get me to buy the sun screen that the office was selling. She had no suggestions for what to do about my acne. She wasn't rude necessarily, but had no interest in me or my skin. Totally rushed. Awful experience.

Terrible bedside manner. She spoke over me, didn't listen to anything I said, and was chastising me about things that I was trying to ask a question about. First example, I told her one of my majors concerns was how sensitivemy skin is. When prescribing medicine (when I asked not to just be given medicine), she asked me if my skin was typically sensitive. Second example, when doing the general skin exam, I pointed out a mole that had changed in appearance since my last exam. In response, she started lecturing me about how I need to be paying more attention to my skin so that I can point out things that are changing and forced in my hand a brochure about mole appearance. She constantly talked over me, interrupted me, and was very rude. The only actual help I received was from the nurse who walked me back to the room. Have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor and I will never go back.

Waited in a thin gown in a very chilly drafty room for 30 minutes. Consulation felt a little rushed like they were just trying to get me out of the way and they were more diligent about trying to get me to buy their products than anything else.

Being completely honest when I say this has been the worst dermatologist I have ever visited. Her bedside manner is awful, she talks over you, dismisses what you say, laughs at you and says "right right"? If you come in witha categorized skin issue such as eczema or psoriasis, she will just do the general medicine for that without talking to you, listening to your concerns, explaining anything and then saying right right? Well not right because you were not listening to me or looking at me pointing out the new rash or my issue with the medicine you prescribed, just talk over me. When I mentioned an issue I had she said it was "minor" several times without explaining why she doesn't think it's beneficial or an alternative. Just said its minor and people can't see it... well it's not a minor issue to me if it's causing me discomfort. Overall, she is not overly rude but her bedside manner is terrible. She tries to get in and out as fast as possible without listening to your concerns and making it seem like a light atmosphere but she's just laughing and talking over you. I have never had an experience like this with a doctor in my entire life. Especially worse because I drove an hour to see her. I will never return again, I only came because this was the closest Doctor my insurance accepts.

When I arrived for my appointment they did not have me in the schedule because they had not kept up with the ZocDoc appointments, according to the receptionist, even though I had gotten a reminder and confirmation email from ZocDoc. Iwaited maybe 15 minutes in the exam room, which wasn't too bad, but when the doctor arrived she rushed in with an attending staff member, spoke so quickly it was hard to understand what she said, and when I asked a couple of questions she hurried through the replies just as quickly so I feel like I'll have to do independent research to get them answered. Overall I think she is competent and credible, but it did not feel like my questions and concerns were a priority, just getting me in and out as fast as possible.
