Carolyn Hammett, MD is board-certified in internal medicine and is a physician with Adventist HealthCare Adventist Medical Group. She graduated from Trinity College in Washington, DC and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Hammett attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and completed her residency at Franklin Square Hospital, also in Baltimore. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
Prior to joining Adventist Medical Group Dr. Hammett was in private practice since 1991. She has special interest in asthma, diabetes, well-women care and geriatric care including improving balance and aging in place. Dr. Hammett strongly believes in giving back to the community and has been dedicated to providing care to the uninsured and those without access to care.

I did not like the visit and I'll most likely never return. My concerns were not properly addressed. I felt like a number not a patient. First of all, I didn't know the doctor was done seeing me until the nurse came in like 10 minutes after the doctor left to tell me I could leave now. I was so confused by it all.

it was ok. I felt like I wasted my time. I was there for about 2 hrs and spoke with her for about 5-10 mins. somewhat answered my questions, I went there for an annual physical but they told me that I have to reschedule that because my appointment would only be getting to know the doctor and Etc. I wish someone would've told me that earlier.
