Casey Colangelo is a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant with a Masters of Science degree from Rutgers University. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Casey has had a passion for Dermatology even before she became a PA, working as a medical assistant for Dr. Lieber in Mahwah, NJ. She went on to pursue a Dermatology clerkship while in PA school at Rutgers. During that time, she became fascinated with the many functions of the skin, how different skin ailments occur, and how best to treat them. She also loves interacting with patients, monitoring their progress, and working together to achieve their skin goals.
Casey is very excited to join the Metropolitan Dermatology family, working alongside great providers in the field she loves. She is skilled in diagnosing and treating skin conditions and is happy to address any of your skin care concerns.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, and catching up on the latest TV series.

Dr. Colangelo was very friendly and has an amazing way with my teenager daughter. She spoke to my daughter one-to-one and made her feel comfortable. She came out of the appointment with a positive feeling and this was a huge turnaround considering she wasn't very excited about going.
