About Julia Minafo
Julia Minafo is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology, with a focus on both medical and cosmetic care. Originally from Long Island and now residing in Westchester, Julia graduated from Hofstra University, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During her training, she completed a clinical rotation in dermatology, where she gained extensive experience treating conditions such as skin cancer, rashes, hair loss, acne, and a variety of complex dermatological conditions.
Julia is a proud member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and is currently working towards completing the Diplomat Fellowship, further honing her skills in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is committed to delivering compassionate care with a patient-centered approach, taking the time to understand and address all concerns, big or small. She believes in treating the person, not just the problem, and is dedicated to creating an approachable and trusting environment for every patient.
Outside of work, Julia is an avid New York Knicks fan, loves fashion, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be a part of the TDS team and looks forward to helping you on your journey to healthier skin!

The provider was nice and knowlegeable. Front office staff friendly and attentive. The only negative I have is that the instructions were not clear on 2 of the 3 medications, nor is there a way to contact them through the portal to make an inquiry. If you have questions, you have to call.

The doctor had every 10 minutes available on zocdoc but then I waited 50 minutes once I got there. Don't attempt a turnstile when it's not.

Fast and easy. Takes longer the first visit to fill out the forms online. Not the best as it asked questions that we did not need. Dr. Julia was great!!!!

Julia and her staff (Essence) were great. Everyone was kind and professional. I came in on a Sunday for a last minute appointment and the wait wasn't too bad and overall the process was quick.
I would definitely recommend!
Also, the office was very clean.

Excellent bedside manner by the PA and the staff were all friendly, kind, and prompt. The office is clean and modern. And they offered refrigerated water or Seltzer. I'm glad I made my appointment with them.
