About Valencia Guillaume
Valencia Guillaume is a board-certified Physician Assistant who is passionate about skincare from head to toe and overall patient education on how to routinely care for their skin.
Valencia began her academic journey at SUNY Old Westbury and then transferred to SUNY Albany where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English Studies with a minor in Biology and graduated with honors.
Valencia then went on to attend the University of California, Davis’s Physician Assistant program, where she completed the didactic and clinical curriculum, during which, she developed a passion for dermatology.
Upon completion of PA school Valencia set her sights on gaining experience and maintaining her clinical skills in general medicine and began working at Albany Medical Center’s urgent care, then CityMD, an urgent care in New York City with the goal of someday transitioning into dermatology as her specialty.
Valencia has always had a passion for medicine since childhood. Valencia hails from humble beginnings in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti where she was born and lived for the first six years of her life and subsequently moved to the United States, specifically Queens, NY. Growing up in the most diverse region in the western hemisphere, Valencia values and has a deep appreciation for diversity, which has significantly contributed to her practice of medicine and overall approach to patient care. Valencia is committed to providing high-quality dermatologic care to patients of all ethnicities, especially people of color who have limited access to dermatologic care specific to their skin type.
In her free time, Valencia enjoys hiking, traveling, singing/dancing, going on adventures with friends and spending quality time with her family.

Every time I have been in need of seeing a Provider, there is always availability (same day), the booking process is so easy and the staff is always nice.

The office sent me home without seeing the physician because their Apple Pay machine was not working and no one from the office let me know this prior so that I could have had cash or a physical card available, the office staff told me I would not be able to see the doctor without the co pay. She didn’t even try to reschedule my appointment.

Doctor was great, very knowledgable and recommended products that I hope help with my acne and dry scalp. Front desk staff was very very friendly - referred me to the location much closer to my home (this one is an hour away but because of the stars I took the trip - worth it). the medical assistant was nice, however she kept addressing me as "dude" at the end of everything., I thought that was very unprofessional but maybe she didn't know any better. she was nice but not appropriate - maybe she thought it was acceptable but I didn't like it. overall great experience, will be back to the practice :)

My experiencec going to PA Valencia Guillaume, in her Far Rockaway office today, was an A. From the friendly, pleasant, and professional Receptionist Catherine to the really sweet, Medical Assistant Mia, who was an absolute refreshing soul to the Physician Assistant, Valencia Guillaume, who was very pleasant, very knowledgeable about my skin issues, and who, by the way, is the only one who has explained so clearly to me what's going on with my skin. I left there with more knowledge than I walked in, and yes, I'm changing to PA Guillaume from today. Her bedside manners are commendable.
The office was clean, quiet, and is in a good neighborhood, where street parking is good, but you just have to be mindful of your time at the meter.
Thank you, PA Valencia Guillaume and staff, for making me so comfortable and putting my mind at ease.
