Dr. Ding continues to be one of the best doctors I've had. Incredible bedside manner, open to dialogue, takes her time with you in the appointment, and so on. Her staff is also always friendly and easy to communicate with. I recommend her to everyone I know that is looking for a dermatologist!

Heads up. A full body mole check is exactly what it sounds like. EVERYTHING will be at least glanced over, that includes spreading your butt cheeks. Sure it is uncomfortable, but I would rather that than untreated melanoma eventually leading to death. I would have appreciated a warning ahead of time, but I should've realized that a doctor as thorough as Dr. Ding would leave no stone unturned, as should any scrupulous doctor. Do not hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Ding. I have seen her for a variety of reasons over the years, and she has always provided excellent care.

Catherine Ding M.D. is a board certified dermatologist who takes pride in providing complete dermatologic care to all age groups. Services provided in her office include medical, pediatric, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Her special interests include acne, eczema, melasma, pediatric dermatology, minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, and skin of color, while emphasizing preventative skin care and patient education.
She attended SUNY Downstate School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in dermatology and chosen to serve as Chief Resident during her final year.
Dr. Ding is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is also a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and the American Medical Association. She is an assistant clinical professor at the New York Harbor VA hospital in Brooklyn, as well as SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she is able to apply her passion for teaching and inpatient dermatology. Dr. Ding has participated in basic science and clinical research in the fields of acne, eczema, psoriasis, surgery, and more.
