Catherine has been a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 1999 and has been a nurse since 1980. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and completed her Master of Science in Family Nursing at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
As a nurse, Catherine worked in Neonatal Intensive Care and helped develop and implement an outpatient program for medically fragile children. She has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice. Her passion is Family Practice, where she can care for the whole family, including multiple generations. Catherine takes a holistic approach to patient care, recognizing the importance of addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social dynamics of each individual to provide the best outcomes. She collaborates closely with her patients to empower them toward optimal health. Her areas of expertise include women's health, pediatric and adolescent medicine, as well as wellness and disease prevention.
Catherine has two adult children and two very lovely granddaughters. She enjoys spending time with her growing family. Her other interests include snowshoeing, bike riding, gardening, trying new recipes, and reading.

This office makes you do an intake appointment if you're a new patient and won't do any of the services you request in the same appointment. I was not notified at any point that this was the case and it's incredibly frustrating to show up to your appointment and not actually have anything you performed that you booked the appointment for.
