Waited over an hour to be seen needs to address this was happening with all patients before and after me too. The secretary sees u right away n gets paperwork done immediately within first ten min but to be called in toke over hour with all patients .

Dr. Celine Satija is a fellowship-trained cornea, LASIK, and cataract surgery specialist working out of our Brooklyn and Hewlett offices.
Dr. Satija attended Princeton University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She completed her medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Following medical school, Dr. Satija completed an internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in Manhattan.
Dr. Satija went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota where she was recognized with the Best Resident Surgeon award. She then pursued additional training in cornea and external disease at Tufts University New England Eye Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston where she learned under renowned cornea specialists including Dr. Michael Raizman and Dr. Helen Wu. There, she learned to perform the most advanced types of partial and full thickness corneal transplant techniques as well as techniques for intraocular lens repositioning and exchange. She also focused on the treatment of keratoconus patients with corneal crosslinking. Dr. Satija is uniquely capable of caring for patients with complex corneal disease.
Throughout her training, Celine Satija has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, several textbook chapters, and was a co-editor of a reference text for cornea providers. She has presented her research at regional and national conferences. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Outside of her work. Dr. Satija enjoys playing tennis, hosting dinner parties for her friends and family, playing the violin, exploring NYC, and traveling with her husband, Matt, and her dog, Mardi. Dr. Satija is conversational in Mandarin.
