Getting to know Chad Krumpholz

As a board-certified Physician Assistant with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Psychiatry—a distinction held by a small percentage of PAs—I specialize in an advanced, evidence-based approach to medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. I believe mental wellness is more than just a prescription; it is a collaborative journey that prioritizes long-term brain health and functional stability. My clinical philosophy centers on "Cognitive Continuity." I specialize in modern, non-controlled pathways that provide consistent, 24-hour symptom management without the "peaks and valleys," dependency risks, or pharmacy supply issues often associated with DEA-controlled medications. By utilizing innovative, non-stimulant treatments, I aim to provide effective results that prioritize your safety and long-term neurological health. I partner with you to achieve your goals through a holistic lens, prioritizing healthy lifestyle practices, restorative sleep hygiene, and the foundational benefits of therapy. Whether you are seeking a first-time evaluation or transitioning to a more conservative care model, I am dedicated to providing a supportive space where you feel heard, educated, and empowered. Please note: My 2026 practice model focuses exclusively on non-controlled treatment pathways and does not include the management or prescribing of stimulants (e.g., Adderall), benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax), or other DEA-controlled medications.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Please Read Before Booking: This practice is a specialized, non-controlled treatment clinic. To maintain the highest standards of safety and clinical integrity, I am explicitly clear about my practice boundaries: My model does not include the use of controlled substances such as stimulants, benzodiazepines, or controlled sleep aids. I prioritize long-term stability over short-term fixes, and my approach is an ideal fit for individuals seeking a conservative, high-integrity, and holistic path to wellness. This model is specifically curated for those who wish to avoid the risks of tolerance and physiological dependence. Please ensure you are comfortable with a non-controlled, evidence-based treatment plan prior to booking. If your current treatment goals require the use of DEA-controlled medications, I recommend booking with a provider who utilizes a traditional prescribing model to ensure your needs are met.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I strive to make the transition into my care as seamless and organized as possible. Once you schedule your appointment, I will reach out to you via email with your comprehensive intake paperwork. Please note that this documentation must be completed in its entirety prior to our session. I personally review your clinical history before the appointment to ensure that my specialized, non-controlled approach aligns with your specific needs and goals. This preparation is essential; it allows me to verify that we are a good clinical fit and ensures we can maximize our appointment time focusing on developing your personalized treatment plan. During our initial evaluation, we will further discuss your history and determine the most effective non-controlled pathways for your journey. I look forward to partnering with you on your path to lasting wellness.

Chad is a great provider focused on patient care and what is best care for the individual. If you need medication maintenance, he will provide you what is necessary and not excessive, unneeded, and expensive appointments.
Mr. Krumpholz was great - comprehensive, thoughtful, educational, and kind. I referred a friend to him the next day. I usually only opt for female providers but I am glad I made an exception for him; he was a safe and supportive provider throughout the appointment and gave me a sense of agency in my treatment.
