What should a new client know about working with you?

I will always see you as more than your diagnosis. I want to help end the stigma in mental health.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe that the best psychiatric care begins with listening. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns without fear of being rushed or dismissed. Every patient has a unique story, and I take the time to understand your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, relationships, and personal goals before developing a treatment plan. During your initial evaluation, we will discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, medications, sleep, stressors, and any factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. Together, we will identify your goals and create a personalized treatment plan that fits your individual needs. Treatment may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, education about your diagnosis, and practical coping strategies. I believe medication is just one part of treatment—not the entire solution. Whenever appropriate, I also discuss nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle factors that can significantly impact mental health. I value shared decision-making and believe you should be an active participant in your care. I will explain your diagnosis, review treatment options, discuss the benefits and potential risks of medications, and answer your questions so you can make informed decisions about your treatment. Mental health is a journey, not a quick fix. We will regularly monitor your progress, celebrate improvements, and adjust your treatment plan as your needs change. My goal is to help you not only reduce symptoms but also improve your overall quality of life, strengthen your resilience, and develop the tools needed for long-term success. Above all, I strive to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the
