Dr. Rizzo is a graduate of the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. Upon receiving his Medical Degree, Dr. Rizzo completed his training in Orthopaedic Surgery at New York University Medical Center. He then went on to continue his training in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at Thomas Jefferson Medical Center Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, Pa. During this specialized training, he served as assistant team physician for several professional teams including the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies, as well as numerous college and high school teams. Dr. Rizzo has been a Master Instructor at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Chicago, teaching other orthopaedic surgeons the most current techniques in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery. He has written articles for publication on the topic of knee and shoulder instability, and is currently involved in research and development of new surgical techniques.

Not a very friendly office except for the Med Tech and the Xray Tech. The front desk was dismissive and Dr. Rizzo was less than interested. Disappointed

It was just ok. The support staff was very good including the xray tech and the PA. I only saw the dr. for 5 minutes or so after waiting over an hour.
In addition i had to redo all the paperwork because they said that they don't or can't print it from zocdoc, so that was a waste of my time.

Dr. Rizzo's office was efficient and friendly. I didn't wait too long for my appointment, didn't wait at all once I got into the room. Was treated very well, things were explained to me, and I am happy with the outcome. I would not hesitate to go back to Dr. Rizzo's office in the future, and would recommend as a shoulder specialist.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The doctors assistant was friendly. Dr. Rizzo has a direct approach, which I appreciate. He listened and evaluated the situation, answered all of my questions and we chose a conservative route which I was very happy to try. The results have been great!
