IN HER OWN WORDS I’m Dr. Charmaine Chibar, a pediatrician with over 20 years of experience, and a mother of two. My family moved from Jamaica to Palm Beach County during my middle school years, and after completing my medical training, I moved back to Palm Beach County in 2004 to practice. I take a whole child approach to patients and I pride myself on providing compassionate, patient-centered care for children and their families. I love working with children of all ages and developmental stages, from newborn to young adults, and all the stages in between. I especially love watching the transformation as they transition from childhood to young adulthood. I’m truly grateful to be a part of their journey. My wish for you is... to have the support and resources needed to raise a happy, healthy child, while also taking care of your own well-being. VACCINATIONS@BLUEBIRD KIDS As pediatric clinicians—and parents ourselves—we believe in preventive medicine and that vaccinations are safe, effective, and vital to prevent serious illness, suffering, and even death. We recommend patients follow the American Academy of Pediatrics vaccination schedule, as our own children do. We will work with families who wish to learn more about vaccines if they meet our minimum vaccination requirements (school schedule). If parents choose not to vaccinate at all, we respectfully recommend seeking care with a pediatrician more aligned with their beliefs.
